• Lardal is situated in the heart of the county of Vestfold.
• Driving to Larvik, Sandefjord, Tønsberg, Holmestrand, Horten, Skien, Porsgrunn, Kongsberg og Drammen takes less than an hour.
• Driving to Oslo takes about one hour og 15 minutes.
• About 2400 inhabitants.
• Consist of three parishes:  Hem, Steinsholt and Svarstad.  In each parish you can find  housing areas, kindergartens and church.
• In the centre of Svarstad there is also several public services; bank, petrol station, shops for food, flowers and gifts, fitnessenter, swimmingpool, healthcare, dentists, hairdressers, library, scateboard ramp, sports and tanning studio.
